Our Story
We’re a husband-and-wife team from Newfoundland, and our story began in 2014 when we moved to Calgary to start the next chapter of our careers. To celebrate, we wanted to cook up a traditional seafood boil—something that always reminded us of home. But we quickly discovered how difficult it was to find the same quality Canadian seafood we grew up with on the East Coast.
That day sparked a dream: to one day bring the very best of Newfoundland and Eastern Canada’s seafood to families and businesses in other parts of the country.
In 2021, that dream became reality with the launch of Coldwater Harvest. As a family-run company, we’re guided by two simple values: treating our customers like family, and providing only the highest-quality seafood on the market.
Every product we carry is sustainably harvested, fully certified, and sourced from Canadian fishermen and processors who share our commitment to protecting the ocean for future generations.
